# Maintenance Windows

> Renderjuice reserves two brief weekly maintenance windows for critical updates. Here is when they happen and what to expect.

RenderJuice has few, but critical maintenance windows we reserve to ensure we
can ship critical updates. Due to the long-running nature of rendering, we
deploy updates that require downtime during the following windows.

When we're using these maintenance windows, you'll find banners placed in the
app ahead of time.

## Windows:

#### Wednesdays: 10AM to 11AM UTC

For updates that may cause downtime, we will primarily use this window.

#### Sundays: 2PM to 3PM UTC

This window is used infrequently.

## Notes:

These times were carefully selected after extensive analysis of usage data to
minimize interruptions for our global customer base.

Most of the time your work will be uninterrupted since most updates don't
require downtime.

**Most maintenance windows will be brief and last less than the full hour.**
