What it does
Blendkit connects Blender to an online library of models, materials, scenes, HDRIs, brushes, and add-ons.
- Search and place library assets without leaving Blender.
- Choose linked models for reuse or appended models for a self-contained scene.
- Keep downloaded assets in a global cache, the project folder, or both.

Install and start
Install
- Download the current Blendkit release or install it from the supported Blender extension source.
- Enable the add-on, sign in if needed, and choose where downloaded asset files should be stored.
First use
- Search the asset bar and place an asset into the scene.
- Choose Link Collection when the external asset file should stay reusable, or Append when the model should become local to the scene.
- Before moving the project, keep the project-local asset folder or bring linked models into the scene.
