What it does
Light Wrangler is a lighting workflow add-on for placing, aiming, and adjusting lights from the 3D viewport.
- Aim a light directly at a chosen point on a surface.
- Place a light from a visible reflection and orbit it around the subject.
- Work with downloaded gobos, HDRIs, and IES profiles from the add-on's cache.

Install and start
Install
- Download the Light Wrangler add-on archive from the publisher.
- In Blender Preferences, use Install from Disk, select the archive, and enable Light Wrangler.
- Open the Light Wrangler preferences to review its shortcuts and asset-cache settings.
First use
- Choose the surface or subject you want to light, then start a Light Wrangler placement tool from the viewport.
- Use Direct, Reflect, or Orbit based on whether the light should aim at, reflect from, or move around the selected point.
