What It Helps You Do

  • Start with the core tools highlighted on the public page, such as Reflect, Direct, Orbit, and Direct gets you close.

How To Install It In Blender

  • Use the add-on publisher’s installation workflow for the version you plan to render with.

Using It On A Render Farm

Simple guidance for rendering node setup, and safer submissions.

Background Rendering: review
Worker Install: review
External Files: review
Conservative install assumption

Conservative default: assume workers also need the same add-on version installed unless you have verified the scene renders correctly after baking or converting the result to native Blender data.

Warnings

  • Do not assume background-render compatibility until you test the add-on in a local headless render.

Safest Workflow

  • Install the exact same add-on version locally and on workers before rendering.
  • Open the scene in desktop Blender, run the documented setup steps, save it, then test a one-frame background render before scaling out.

Packing Checklist

  • Upload any external assets, presets, caches, textures, or exported helper files the documented workflow depends on.
  • If the vendor provides a bake, export, or cache step, complete it before sending the scene to the farm.

Common Issues

  • An interactive setup step was never saved into the .blend before background rendering.
  • Workers are missing the exact add-on build or required asset bundle used on the artist machine.

Before You Render

Validate the workflow first

Run a short local background render or one small farm job before relying on this add-on in a longer production submission.
