What it does
Physical Starlight and Atmosphere, commonly called PSA, builds a procedural World and sun system for Blender scenes.
- Set sky, sun, fog, clouds, and stars from one environment-lighting workflow.
- Reuse atmosphere presets and animate time or weather controls for a shot.
- Bake a finished static sky to an HDRI when the live procedural controls are no longer needed.

Install and start
Install
- Download PSA from its publisher, install the ZIP in Blender, and enable it in Preferences.
- Current PSA requires Blender 3.4 or newer; Blender 4.2 and newer can install the extension-form package.
- Open a rendered viewport and enable the atmosphere once so PSA creates its World and sun setup.
First use
- Choose or create a preset, set the sun and atmosphere, and check both the viewport and a small final-engine render.
- Pack imported preset textures and any other external environment assets.
- For a static farm handoff without PSA, bake the sky, apply the HDRI, save a copy, and compare a clean Blender frame.
