Estimate Blender Render Time and Cost Before You Upload
Use a local frame time to estimate your animation's render time, GPU-minute credits, and credit value across Renderjuice plans with our free Blender calculator.
Before sending an animation to the cloud, you want to know how long it could take and how much of your render budget it will use. The new Blender Render Time Calculator helps you plan with a frame you’ve already rendered on your own machine.
Start with One Local Frame
Choose your GPU, enter how many GPUs you used, and add your average time per frame and the number of frames in your animation. The calculator uses that information to estimate the full local render time and compare it with Renderjuice.
The tool is free to use in your browser. You can explore the estimates without uploading your Blender file or creating an account.
Compare Render Times Across Plans
See your local render time alongside an estimated completion time for each Renderjuice plan. The comparison uses Blender benchmark scores and each plan’s average rendering power to help you choose a plan for your deadline.
The estimated GPU-minute workload stays the same across plans. A plan with more rendering power can finish that work sooner.
Understand the Credit Cost
The results show the estimated GPU-minute credits your animation needs and how much of each plan’s included monthly allowance it would use. You can also compare the value of those credits within a subscription with their value at the plan’s top-up rate.
Plan credit value is a share of the subscription price, not an extra charge for the render. Top-up credit value shows the value of the same workload when purchasing additional credits.
Plan with a Representative Frame
Use a frame time that reflects the rest of your animation for a more useful estimate. Scenes with large changes in lighting, geometry, or effects can take different amounts of time from frame to frame.
These results are planning estimates, not guaranteed completion times or price quotes. Actual render time and credit use can vary, and the time estimate excludes uploads and downloads.
